Industrial
Research Institute for Automation and Measurements “PIAP” has large
experience in the organization of the fairs and conferences as well as in
organization of technology transfer. PIAP is participating in the project
“Polish Knowledge Gateway” connected with technology transfer from the
universities to industry.
PIAP
organizes annually the largest Polish fairs in the area of industrial automation
(AUTOMATICON) as well as international conferences. Moreover PIAP is the owner
and publisher of the largest Polish journal in the area of industrial technology
entitled “Measurements, Automatics and Robotics”.
PIAP
is widely cooperating with industrial and scientific organizations and research
groups from European Union and Candidate Countries. This cooperation is focused
mainly on the development as well as on the scientific research within the
projects co-financed by European Commission with in Framework Programs. PIAP was
actively participating in 4th, 5th and 6th Framework Program.

Mr.
Roman Szewczyk PhD. Eng
Was
graduated in the field of Quality Engineering and Metrology at the Faculty of
Mechatronics of Warsaw University of Technology. He received PhD in the same
University. During the recent years he was involved in development of the unique
telemetry as well as industrial control applications. He was also involved in
development of new sensors together with unique IT solutions. He was
coordinating projects connected with development of telemetry systems for
industrial applications as well as environmental monitoring. For his scientific
work he received award of Dean of Warsaw University of Technology (in 2002) as
well as award of the Prime Minister of Poland (in 2004). He has published over
50 papers in refereed Polish and international scientific and technical journals
as well as conference proceedings.
Mr.
Wojciech Winiarski MSc. Eng
Was
graduated in the field of Metrology on the Faculty of Precision Mechanics of the
Warsaw University of Technology in 1977. During the recent years he was involved
in development of flow sensors as well as he was person in charge of Polish
National Research Committee projects. He is co-author of 5 patents as well as 15
publications in refereed scientific and technical journals as well as conference
proceedings. Since 1991 he is the Head of the Measuring Systems Department in
PIAP.
Ms. Katarzyna
Rzeplinska MSc Eng
She
was graduated at the Warsaw University of Technology in the field Environmental
Protection, she gets a second Master Degree in the field Indoor Environment in
Technical University of Denmark. She has wide experience in organization of
European Cooperation within Framework Program.
Mr.
Marcin Glinski MSc. Eng
Expert
in Industrial IT systems, communication and wireless data transmission. He
implemented more then 10 industrial projects mainly in the area of relational
databases, systems analyzing and designing methodology of knowledge. He has wide
experience in international projects also as a project manager. Author of 5
scientific papers
