Communications
(C) within the CARiManS system is considered as the most critical aspect for
fast, accurate and secure information transfer. From the CARiManS schematic
diagram above, it becomes clear that there exist several communication links
among the CASiMan system(s), its components and its interface with the outside
world. The objective of this JPA is to integrate these different components into
a single, efficiently operating CARiMan system that bears the necessary
attributes to make it applicable to all application areas in a generic form.
Thus, it overviews and integrates the communications activities and provides the
link with the applications areas.
