The group of DUTH is skilled in the following topics:

-Non linear image/signal processing,

-Application of fuzzy for image processing and system control,

-Hardware implementation of several algorithms for real-time processing,

-Instrumentation and measurements.

The Democritus University of Thrace is a non-profit organisation and its main objective is research and education. The exploitable results of this project is, therefore, limited into these two functions. The goal of DUTH is to increase its team working in the field of its expertise, which can be realised by means of CARiMan project.

Contribution to CARiMan

We could participate in any of the following:

SP: Signal Recognition

PD: Signal Conditioning

MS: Sensor/Actuator

Also, we would like to participate in

Ve: A robot for volcano exploration

However, we should read at least a draft version of this part.
