The
IT Consultantcy and
Software Design Ltd has been working on risk management projects for the last 6 years.
We specialize in artificial intelligence. Our main contracts have been in the
aria of fraud detection.
ITC is indeed able to provide specific
natural risk scenarios specific to my country and in global or territorial
financial systems as well.
Risk to marine life caused by changes in the
environment. A very important issue for the globe and even more so for a country
like Iceland as its economy is build of sea products.
Here, I am able to put my modelling skills to work; I
already have a model that takes environmental data into consideration when
approximating fish stock. I am able
to carry on my work there and produce a marine simulator based on a neural
network. The model can be enhanced to simulate environment changes
and approximate the effect on utilized marine species. The environment changes
may include increased sea temperature, pollution, changes in currents,
changes in PH level, salt level, plankton production, level, CO2 level,
migration, over fishing etc.
This would be a rather complex model, but I have been
guaranteed access to the data at the Marine Institute here by the ministry of
fisheries. And it is a field I am quite familiar with.
In other natural risk management solutions
specific for Iceland I am less knowledgeable, but I can gather
information and investigate. These may include

Volcanic eruptions
Avalanches
Epidemic breakout
etc.
In the financial sector, I have as you may see in my
documents, extensive experience, especially in fraud detection.
