Description of the Organisation
The company TEMPO is the SME from the Czech
Republic, established in September 1996 in the City of Ostrava with the aim to
be a reputable training centre in the branch of computers and business
education. Since last four years TEMPO went through emphatic progression and has
already three branch offices, in Ostrava, Prague and Brno. Since 1999 there
exists also the subsidiary company in San Francisco in the USA in the sphere of
programmers and consultants services. Presently our company has 46 employers
including lectors and assistants, without external co-operators.
The activities of TEMPO are divided into the
following five main areas:
Computer education and training for personal
computer users and software professionals
Training programs to enhance managerial and
entrepreneurial skills
Development and implementation of European
co-operation programs in conjunction with the European Union programs
Provision of language training using multimedia
for English, German and also Dutch language, including projects for the
development of language CD ROM’s
Design and creation the web sites
TEMPO is all set to move into the fast growing
field of software and systems consulting. It seeks to capitalise on the high
quality human-capital resources, which Czech Republic has to offer. Czech
Republic has one of the highest literacy rates in the world. Furthermore, it
ranks high on the list of countries with technically skilled personnel. After
the velvet revolution in 1989, there has been rapid modernisation with a focus
on the use of Information Technology. The pool of skilled computer programmers,
software specialists and professionals in the Czech Republic is impressive, and
is growing at a healthy rate.
With its experience and contacts in the IT
industry, and its access to high quality software professionals, TEMPO is
uniquely placed to exploit the potential that the large software-consulting
field has to offer. We have an interesting roster of software consultants from
the Czech Republic, who we would like to present to clients in the United States
and Western Europe. The areas of expertise of our consultants includes, Systems
Programming, Networking, Database Design, Implementation and Administration,
Applications Programming, Java Programming, Internet Based Applications, and ERP
(Enterprise-wide Resource Planning).
As a training centre and from our previous work
on several EU-funded projects founded on education we have excellent knowledge
on the dissemination of the projects results

Management and Data Base System
Our experiences from the software development, especially the creation of
the Databases according the customers requirements, show we can actively
participate on the creation of the Database.
D2: Conferences, meetings and workshops
From the previous work on several European
projects we have experiences in organising various types international
conferences as well as project seminars and workshops.
D3: Dissemination & Exploitation
An a IT company we employ number of experts
experienced in the creation and updating web pages in almost all existing
formats. Also printed materials, such as leaflet, brochures etc. can be produced
with our assistance.
We are also experienced in the market research
in various types of institutions.
D4: Publications
TEMPO can contribute to the preparation, editing
and publication of the Virtual magazine and sharing the information on CARiMan
project in Czech Republic and also other CEEC.

implementation to support'. Our long-term experience, as well as our world-class
expertise, enables our clients to effectively compete in the 'new economy' of
today.
In Fall 1999 we have founded a
daughter company in San Francisco, USA being active in the area of
programming and consultancy services.
At the present time our company has 46 employees including tutors and
assistants. In addition to this we also cooperate with a number of external
associates.
