Training Programme

for the Real-Time EEG Analysis

The European Community programme fosters collaboration between educational institutions and industry in the areas of education and further training, particularly in the field of advanced technology.

The development of a new strategy for psycho-physiological investigation - consisting of real-time EEG analysis using high-performance multiprocessor systems - GRID - and the patented virtual source method - is supported under this programme.

Low cost but effective training programmes are run under the joint auspices of the Universität Otto von Guericke (Magdeburg), the company ICS Dr G Roscher GmbH and International Partners. Most courses last three days with the exception of the short one day information course. All courses are specifically aimed at psychologists, neurologists, psychiatrists and their assistants and deal with the following topics:

2.         Computer-aided psychological tests

    ·  Test design.

    ·  Test application.

    ·  Test evaluation.

3.         Multimedia applications in psychological testing

    ·  The computer as a multimedia system.

    ·  Sound applications.

    ·  Video applications.

4.         Event-Related Potentials

    ·  Test design.

    ·  Stimuli triggered by EEG results.
