The first objective of this JPA is to determine
the specifications needed for the development of an integrated wildfire
management and prevention system at local community level. This system will use
CARiManS structure. The second objective is to conduct innovate research
for the positioning and navigation platform of the system. The results from
these two objectives will be developed as an operational system that will be
demonstrated in a study area in Greece –
third objective. The fourth objective of the JPA is the
development of risk management and advanced decision-making tools for assisting
local authorities to handle a forest fire emergency in the most efficient way.
