MultiD Analyses AB are experts in multivariate data analysis and multidimensional modelling. We pioneered the field of multidimensional data analysis and our company holds several key patents in the area. We develop algorithms for analysis of multidimensional data and we develop software for multidimensional applications.

In PatiMon the role of MultiD Analyses will be to develop algorithms and methods to analyze and interpret the collected data and present the results in a simple and readily understandable form for the physicians. The algorithms will be such that information acquired during the monitoring process both about the disease and patients’ response in general as well as about the particular response of the monitored individual will be accounted for. The algorithm will be updated with general information from a database on a regular basis, while it will continuously be updated with information about the monitored individual and, hence, adapted to her specific needs. Information collected will be the individual’s medical and physical data as well as information about her life style, habits and also day-to-day activities. The information will be treated by the algorithm that will predict the individual’s health conditions and present the result for the physician. Of particular importance will be that the algorithm should with time learn about each patient’s individual needs and response to medication to improve predictability. This will be particularly valuable for diabetes and cardiac failure patients, where the program shall be able to predict when the individual is about to enter a more dangerous or risky period based on current conditions and previous experience.

Three people from MultiD Analyses will be engaged in PatiMon:

Amin Forootan, M.Sc. Computer Engineering Chalmers Technical University, Sweden. Expert in software development, graphical user interfaces, embedded systems programming, mobile communication. Since 2001 president and head of product development at MultiD Analyses AB.

Björn Sjögreen, professor. PhD in numerical analysis 1988 from Uppsala University, Sweden. Visiting professor UCLA 1989-1990. Lecturer at Uppsala University 1990-1996, since 1996 lecturer in numerical analysis and computer sciences at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. Areas of expertise: Numerical approximation of partial differential equations with applications in high speed fluid dynamics, supersonic combustion, and astrophysics. Implementation of numerical methods on parallel computers. Analysis of data from such computations, and other types of data analysis.

Mikael Kubista, professor. PhD in chemistry 1988 from Chalmers University, Sweden. Visiting professor La Trobe University in 1990 and Yale University in 1991. Lecturer in physical chemistry, chemometrics and bioinformatics at Chalmers University 1991-1996. Since 2001 head research at MultiD Analyses AB. Areas of expertise: multidimensional measurements and multivariate studies. Multidimensional analysis and bioinformatics.
