The objective is to provide: an efficient platform for
real time information analysis, early accident warning as well as tools for
forecasting, pollution mitigation, post-accident analysis and remediation
planning in cases of nuclear accidents.
The Nuclear Accidents Information System links real
time data from sensors, monitors, met-offices and satellites, as well as tools
for predictive analysis and decision support systems based on risk analysis
creating that way a powerful platform for emergency response that would enable
experts to respond timely and efficiently in case of nuclear accidents. In the
core of the Nuclear Accidents Information System lies state-of-the-art
information technology that links all the components in the system.
